Local Dining

Savor Miami’s Delectable Local Flavor

Be sure not to leave without savoring the diverse international flavors of Miami Beach. No matter the occasion, the perfect restaurant for any taste is just a short stroll or drive from any of the Charles Group Hotels. From hearty breakfast diners to sidewalk cafés to elegant fine dining restaurants, the Miami Beach area is brimming with world-class restaurants.

You’ll find a few of our favorite top Miami Beach restaurants below:

Burger & Beer Joint

This gritty burger joint is known for its specialty burgers (from the Hotel California, loaded with guacamole and a sunny fried egg, to the shrimp-topped spiced shrimp Paradise City burger). Stop in for a spiked "adult shake" milkshake and enjoy happy hour Monday through Friday, or pop in on the first and third Friday of each month to sing your heart out at karaoke night. The fun – and the food! – don’t stop. Locations include: Mary Brickell Village, 900 South Miami Ave. Suite 130, Miami, FL 33130 and South Beach, 1766 Bay Road Miami Beach, FL 33139.

Havana 1957

Authentic, Cuba-inspired cuisine, featuring breakfast specials (a hearty plate of bistec con huevos, anyone?) that'll get you going early, and a selection of sandwiches, side orders, and Cuban sodas that'll please the most hard-to-satisfy palettes. With two locations – 405 Espanola Way and 819 Lincoln Road – and late-night hours befitting club lovers and night owls alike, you're never too far away from a savory Cuban meal.

Joe’s Stone Crab

Joe’s is more than a local institution; it’s a benchmark for Miami Beach culinary excellence. Having played host to such luminaries as Frank Sinatra and Muhammad Ali, the folks at Joe’s Stone Crab know a thing or two about serving up fresh, perfectly prepared seafood in an intimate, friendly atmosphere. Located at 11 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, Joe's will reopen for the season in mid-October 2013. Reservations aren't taken, and customers are seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Believe us, it’s worth the wait.

Macchialina

An impressive daily happy hour featuring Italian beer and wine, a menu packed with rustic Italian favorites and a few delectable surprises, all served up in an inviting atmosphere: Macchialina delivers a casual dining experience ideal for friends, family, and even colleagues traveling together. Feast on a selection of snacks, antipasti, fresh seafood, and pizza. Just be sure to leave room for a bite of one of their indulgent desserts. The restaurant is located at 820 Alton Road, Miami Beach.

News Café

Vegetarians and carnivores alike appreciate Pasha’s dedication to high quality ingredients and healthy food that doesn’t taste like “health food.” Fill your craving at the South Beach location, found at 900 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.

Rosa Mexicano

You’ll be shouting out, “Olé!” by the end of the night at Rosa Mexicano, if not for the cocktails, then definitely for the entrees. A thoroughly modern twist on Mexican cuisine is on the menu at Rosa Mexicano, where you’ll find tableside-prepared guacamole, fresh ceviche, and plenty of seafood and meat dishes on hand.
